The film is an introduction to
a character and delves into a teenager; Penelope who lives in a rural area of
Australia, due to her circumstances her family has never seen University as
feasible. However, she wishes to pursue her dream of expanding on her studies
although her friends and family do not provide her with support. This
discouragement leads her to infuriate and she embarks on a run through the cane
fields.
